   OIML  (International organization for legal metrology)

Bureau of metrology became a member of OIML (International organization of legal metrology) in September 2004.

 

   WELMEC  (European Cooperation in Legal Metrology)

Bureau of metrology became an associate member of WELMEC on 8-th of May 2008.

The future goals of the Bureau of metrology in the area of international cooperation and international membership are membership in the international organizations IMEKO, EUROLAB, EURACHEM.

 

   IAAO  (International Association of Assay Offices)

Bureau of metrology became a member of International Association of Assay Offices (IAAO). The membership in IAAO provide development of the cooperation among 38 countries members of this organization in the area of controlling precious metals, exchanges of information for recognition of the national seals of the precious metals and facilitate service of the institutions responsible for control of the precious metals, especially during import of the precious metals in the country member of this association.
International Association of Assay Offices (IAAO) every year organize inter laboratory comparison for testing of the precious metals in order to develop methods of testing of the precious metals.
