   Meter Convention

Since October 2006 Republic of Macedonia is a associate member of CGPM – General Conference for Weight and Measure of Metre
In 14.11.2007 is signed CIPM MRA – Arrangement for acceptance of certificates for calibrations issued by the signatory countries of this arrangement under Metre Convention.

   EURAMET( European association of metrology)

EURAMET is European association of national institutes of metrology. The mission of EURAMET is coordination of collaboration among the European national institutes of metrology, traceability of measuring SI units, international recognition of national measuring standards and calibrations and measuring capabilities of national institutes of metrology and specially implementation of MRA – Arrangement for acceptance of certificates for calibrations issued by the signatory countries of this arrangement by protection of Meter Convention.
In the beginning of 2007 year the Bureau of Metrology become associate member of EURAMET and participate with own experts in technical committee of EURAMET for Length, Mass, Temperature, Volume and flow, Time and frequency, Electrical quantities, Interdisciplinary metrology
