• • SEE (South East Europe) Project – project for promotion of international collaboration among the countries from South East Europe in the scope of quality infrastructure.

In the protection of EURAMET in organization of German institute of metrology PTB, the Bureau of metrology participated in three round tables in Sophia, Podgorica and Novi Sad which refers to approaching the National metrology institute from Southeast Europe to full membership in EURAMET. Planed activities for this year assembly to this project of German institute of metrology PTB are: workshop in the Bureau of Metrology for intercomparison for mass, realized in the period of 31.01.2008 to 01.02.2008 and workshop for checking the software for legal metrology and BoM will host in October  the annual  meeting of SEE NMi’s

CARDS/SMAQVa project
The target of SMAQVa (Strengthening the Standardization, Metrology, Accreditation and Quality Validation program) the project consists technical support for preparation on all documents for building-up the Biro of Metrology in order with published European laws and to make organization in order European standards and requirements on the field of metrology. The results contain building-up competent body in the field of metrology, providing capacity for making direction organizing and managing with laws and industrial services and also providing capacity for verifying and calibration of the all measure equipment and equipment for examination. The acquisition of etalons and added equipment for equipping 8 laboratories for calibration: for mass, for density, for pressure, for length and angle, for temperature, for volume and flow, for electrical size, time and frequency from the Laboratory Center which is under Biro of Metrology and it’s realized with the program CARDS/SMAQVa1.
With the program CARDS/SMAQVa2 is made training on qualified staff for work in the laboratories.

 

CARDS Regional 2002 project
Project for quality of the regional infrastructure for the South European countries: Albania-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Croatia-Macedonia-Serbia and Montenegro through regional bodies for accreditation, standardization and metrology and basic support of the infrastructure for quality (metrology, accreditation, standardization, testing- certification –inspection and control on the market)

 

CARDS Regional 2006 project
Project which is continuance of CARDS Regional 2002 in the area of the infrastructure for quality and is still under going. The part of metrology is planed through realizing PT (Proficiency Testing) and training of the following areas: environmental, protection of the customers and construction. Where the Biro of Metrology is involved in the part of environmental with PT for temperature and mass in the part of protection the customers with PT for energy.

 

IPA/TAIB2011/ Framework Contract Beneficiaries

“Technical assistance for projects preparation for the Bureau of Metrology”

Technical assistance has been delivered to the Bureau of Metrology to assist with preparation of projects and to provide support to the Bureau of Metrology for effective implementation of IPA 2012/2013 Project “Private Sector Development“ – Component 3.2.Three international experts contributed on each two missions. A terms of reference was prepared in preparation for a project for improving the competences and capabilities of the Bureau of Metrology. Technical specifications were developed in preparation of a project for supply of metrology laboratory equipment. On-the-job training was provided to the staff of the Bureau of Metrology to teach them some important aspects of procurement of project assistance under the rules of EuropeAid.

 

IPA/TAIB2012/ Twinning Light project

“Strengthening the capacities of the Bureau of Metrology for internal market integration”

The purpose of this twinning light project was to help Bureau of Metrology in Macedonia to strengthening their capacities to better integration in the EU Internal Market and help them reach the better position on internal market. Also, project should help them develop and improve their own skills. The project was very successful, achieved all results and has also added value lie in new relationships, friendship and the floor for the next cooperation like for BoM in the same way for CMI too. BoM staff have got new knowledge, experiences and practices, which they can use for the further development.
