WORKING VISIT OF THE MINISTER OF ECONOMY IN BoM

On February 2nd, 2011, the Minister of Economy, Fatmir Besimi and representatives from the World Bank realized a working visit to the Bureau of Metrology.

The occasion for this visit was the purchase of new laboratory equipment for the Laboratory center of the Bureau, through the World Bank BERIS project.
The realization of this project will provide increased range of measurements and full operation of the laboratories for mass, temperature, pressure, time and frequency, and laboratory for testing of precious metals.
During the visit, the Minister of Economy and the representatives of the World Bank, were familiarized with the new, as well as with existing laboratory facilities and the ongoing activities of the Bureau of metrology.
