WORKSHOP ON MARKET SURVEILLANCE

On February 3, 2011, workshop on market surveillance of precious metals articles, was held in the premises of the Bureau of metrology. This workshop was held within the framework of TAIEX Expert Mission on the harmonization of legislation on precious metals in accordance with the European practice.

This workshop was attended by representatives from the State Market Inspectorate and staff from the Bureau of Metrology. They were introduced on the European experience in market surveillance, the method of implementing corrective measures that the authorities undertake, keeping a register of producers of precious metals, etc.
