Laboratory for pressure

The whole equipment for the Pressure laboratory is brought 2005. All the equipment is from DH-Budenberg .

The pressure laboratory has:  

• • Pressure Balance model: 5500 (measuring range: 0 – 2000 bar )
  • Pressure Balance model: 5306 (measuring range: 0 – 2000 bar )
  • Dead Weight Tester model: 580DX (measuring range: 0 – 1200 bar )
  • Pressure Controller model: GPC3 (measuring range: 0 – 3.7 bar to 0 – 101.2 absolute )
  • Pressure Controller model GPC2 (measuring range: 0 – 2.5 bar gauge / 1.25 mbar – 3.5 bar absolute )
  • Automatic pressure balance model: DPG8 (measuring range: 0 – 1.6 bar gauge )
  • Pressure Portable Calibrator model:PPS40 (measuring range: 0 – 400 bar )

The main objective of the Pressure Laboratory is the establishment and maintenance  of primary standard for the realization of the pressure unit, Pascal. Additionally, the laboratory is involved in the development of different measurement set-ups for providing calibration services to the secondary level laboratories and end users.. Through the development of new measurement methods and techniques the Pressure Laboratory contributes to the scientific and technological development of R.Macedonia.
